Scan Settings (For All Scan-to Options)
click the
Scan Settings
tab to bring up the setting page for the Scan-to
option selected. you can make change as following:

choices: “ADF (Duplex)”, “ADF (back Side)”,
“ADF (Front Side)”
you can specify the side of originals to be
scanned either “Front Side” (the side of the
document contacts the input tray surface) or
“back Side”. Select “Duplex” to scan double-
sided sheets on both sides.

two-Sided merge
check this function to scan both sides at once
and combine them into one image when the
“ADF(Duplex)” is selected. you scan original
larger than A4 size (maximum A3 size) using
the optional Protective Sheet (see
example:

back side
merged image
ABC

Protective Sheet
Select either “With Protective Sheet” when
using the optional Protective Sheet for the
“two-Sided merge” scanning, or “Without
Protective Sheet” when not using the optional
Protective Sheet.
