Advanced Scan Features 2-39

Using ScanTag

The ScanTag feature allows you to create image data and metadata (data indicating the

attributes and processing method of the image file) in a single scan. The image data and

metadata will be sent automatically to a network computer.

Note

Set ScanTag before using this function. For details, refer to Chapter 3, “Setting

ScanTag” in the OfficeBridge Guide.

Entering a tag (metadata) at the machine

Load the document, and press <Scan>.

Press the [Application] tab, and then [ScanTag].

Select the

ScanTag setting you wish to use.
