7 - 3 M a i n t e n a n c e a n d I n s p e c t i o n
WARNING
Do not touch the Inverter terminals while the power is being supplied.
WARNING
Maintenance or inspection must be performed only
a f t e r
turning OFF the
power supply, confirming that the CHARGE indicator (or status indicators) is turned OFF, and
a f t e r
waiting for the time specified on the front cover. Not doing so may result in electrical
shock.
WARNING
Maintenance, inspection, or parts replacement must be performed by
authorized personnel. Not doing so may result in electrical shock or injury.
WARNING
Do not attempt to take the Unit apart or repair. Doing either of these may
result in electrical shock or injury.
Caution
Carefully handle the Inverter because it uses semiconductor elements. Careless
handling may result in malfunction.
Caution
Do not change wiring, disconnect connectors, the Operator, or optional items, or re-
place fans while power is being supplied. Doing so may result in injury, damage to the
product, or malfunction.
Daily Inspection
Check the following items with the system in operation.
•
The motor should not be vibrating or making unusual noises.
•
There should be no abnormal heat generation.
•
The output current value shown on the monitor display should not be higher than normal.
•
The cooling fan on the bottom of the Inverter should be operating normally, if the Inverter
model has the cooling fan.
Periodic Inspection
Check the following items during periodic maintenance.
Before beginning inspection, be sure to turn
o f f
the power supply. Confirm that all the indicators
on the front panel have turned
o f f ,
and then wait until at least 1 minute has elapsed before
beginning the inspection.
Be sure not to touch the terminals right
a f t e r
the power has been turned
o f f .
Otherwise, an electric
shock may occur.
•
The terminal screws of the Inverter should not loose.
•
There should be no conductive dust or oil mist on the terminal block or inside the Inverter.
•
The mounting screws of the Inverter should not be loose.
