GENERAL
Description
Models P00125000 and P00125001 duct furnaces are for use only in a Munters Corporation
heating/cooling/dehumidification system. These duct furnaces are not to be used in any other system unless
otherwise noted by Munters Corporation.
Model P00125000 is for use with natural gas, and P00125001 is for use with propane gas only. Both models are
available for single stage or two stage heating.
Single stage heating offers only a rate of 400,000 BTU/hr per heater, while the two stage heating offers a high-low
feature for 400,000 BTU/hr on high and 200,000 BTU/hr on low.
These instructions are to be retained for future reference. These instructions are intended only as a guide for a
qualified installer/service person.
These units are completely assembled. All wiring and piping are factory installed and tested. These heaters only
require 24 volt thermostat leads.
Approval
These heaters have been certified by E.T.L. Testing Laboratories as a duct furnace to the standard "ANSI Z83.9
Duct Furnace" for use with natural gas or propane gas, and with either single or two stage heating.
Inspection
As soon as the appliance is received, it should be inspected for any damage during transit.
INSTALLATION
Venting
This is a horizontally vented appliance for outdoor installation only. The installation of this appliance must conform
with local building codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1. The flue
vent, part number 28601400 or 28601500 is factory installed. No additional venting is required. The flue outlet
should not be connected to any other venting system. The flue vent and its supports should not be changed, altered
or removed for any reason except routine maintenance and cleaning.
Clearances
This heater must have 48 inch rear clearance to combustibles.
Adequate clearances must be maintained for:
-Servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the appliance. -Ventilation of flue gases.
-Combustion air supply.
This appliance must be placed in an area free and clear of combustible materials, vapors, and liquids.
Install this unit a minimum of 4 horizontal feet from electric meters, gas meters, gas regulators, and gas pressure
relief equipment.

Plumbing
A 1/8-inch N.P.T. plugged tapping, accessible for test gage connection, must be installed immediately upstream of
the gas supply connection to the appliance. The minimum gas supply pressures are (inches-water column):
