Commissioning
Method A:
1. Insert the three 1,5V AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back
of the receiver, the device will emit a signal tone and is ready to be coupled for
about 30 seconds.
2. Press the button on the transmitter within this time to couple the two devices.
A successful coupling is confirmed by another signal tone.
3. The doorbell is now ready for use.
Method B:
1. Insert the three 1,5V AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back
of the receiver, the device will emit a signal tone and is ready to be coupled
for about 30 seconds. Should these 30 seconds elapse without a coupling, just
press the (L) button on the back of the receiver. Then the device will emit a
signal tone and is ready to be coupled for about 30 seconds. Press the button
on the transmitter within this time to couple the two devices. A successful cou-
pling is confirmed by another signal tone.
2. The doorbell is now ready for use.
Melody selection
A total of 16 different melodies are available.
Everytime you press the (M) button on the back of the receiver, the melody will
be changed to the next pre-installed ringtone. The sound will be applied auto-
matically if you do not press the button again.
Removing the coupling
1. Press the (L) button on the back of the receiver for about 6 seconds until ano-
ther singal sounds.
2. If you now push the bell button, the receiver no longer plays any sounds.
Set up transmitter
Please pay attention to power lines, gas and water pipes during installation.
NOTE: The installation of the transmitter to a metal surface (e.g. door frame made
of metal) can reduce the transmission power.
1. Drill holes in the wall and insert the dowels.
2. Carefully open the cover with a screwdriver by pushing the retaining collar inside.
3. Supply the back of the cover with the sealing rings included in delivery, before
you mount the cover at the frontage.
4. Insert the battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity and a centered placing
of the battery.
