8.17.11 Preheater – Function and leak-tightness check

Preconditions

Preheater is switched on.

Checking operation

Note:

The coolant temperature must be within the range of the thermostat when the preheater is ready for opera-
tion.

1.

Check coolant preheating temperature.

2.

Set the thermostat to the relevant temperatures if they are out of range.

Checking heating element(s) (electrical)
