6.1 50-hours check
50-hours check
One-time operations to be carried out after a test run or after the first 10 to 50 operating hours of the cylin-
der head (with a new engine, after installation of new cylinder heads, after component maintenance or ex-
tended component maintenance).
When installing a cylinder head with run-in mating faces (e.g. after piston replacement), a repeated check
after the first 50 operating hours is not necessary.
