Cleaning
Upholstery should be cleaned weekly with a mild liquid soap
and water mixture. Afterwards, wipe upholstery with clean
damp cloth.
Painted and Plastic Surfaces
All painted metal parts have been electrostatically painted
and the paint is baked on for durability. Weekly, those
surfaces should be wiped down with a quality grade cleaner
and a soft cloth or a damp cloth with mild soap.
Preventative Maintenance
Periodically inspect the following areas:
1.
All fasteners and pins should be in place and tightened
securely.
2.
Power cord should be free of cuts or other visible
damage.
3.
All mechanical functions should operate properly.
Have an authorized service technician inspect your equipment
once a year.
Hand Control Cord
1.
The hand control cord comes pre-attached to the back
of the stretcher bed to prevent the cord from being
damaged. If the clip or hand control is removed, the hand
control should be reattached with 30 coils below clamp
to prevent damage.

Power Cord Removal Instructions
1.
To remove the power cord, pull back on the red tabs of
the power cord at the base of the stretcher bed. See
“Unpacking and Set-up” on page 12 for installation
instructions.
Fuse Replacement Instructions
1.
See Figure 3. Pull back on the red tabs of the power cord
at the base of the stretcher bed to remove the power
cord.
2.
Using a flat head screwdriver, open the fuse drawer in the
power cord jack.
3.
Remove the burnt fuse(s).
4.
Insert new fuse(s) into the fuse drawer with same size
fuse (5mm x 20mm 4 Amp 250V Time-Delay Glass tube
type) removed in step 3 (See Figure 3).
5.
Reinsert the fuse drawer. Ensure it is completely inserted.
6.
Reinsert the power cord into the base of the stretcher
bed.
