Make sure the operating manuals of the
40V FAST CHARGER and the 40V LI-ION
power pack are available. Please read
and understand them before putting the
device into use.
Power pack charging
WARNING!
Risk of injuries or material damage

Only charge the power pack with the 40V
FAST CHARGER.
Attention!
The power pack is supplied partially charged. Be-
fore first use, fully charge the power pack using the
40 V FAST CHARGER to ensure the full capacity
of the power pack.

Power pack charging must be carried out ac-
cording to the instructions in the supplementary
documentation.
Operating times

Observe the times stipulated in local byelaws.
Î
Check with your local authorities to determine if
there are any operating time limitations.
Assembly
WARNING!
Risk of injuries due to the cutting tool.

Only adjust the device with the motor
switched off and the cutting tool at a
standstill.

Do not reach into the area of the rotating
line.
¾
Always remove the power pack prior to
working on the device.

Remove the two pre-fitted screws and the fit-
ting

Position the middle handle at the desired
height

Locate the fitting on the opposite side of the
middle handle

Secure the middle handle by tightening the
screws
