7.2.5. Wiring examples for the analog input CA-SETPOINT
Note: All signals, including GND must not be connected to any external
potential.
7.2.5.1.
Internal Potentiometer
For a fast and convenient setup, there is a potentiometer (10 turns)
onboard. This potentiometer is already connected internally to the
reference voltage and GND. The only external connection has to be
made between CA-POT and CA-SETPOINT (see figure 23 below).

7.2.5.2.
External Potentiometer with reference voltage
A simple way to control the HW-Setpoint from a remote position, is, to
place a potentiometer (1kΩ, linear) in the setup. It is recommended to
use a shielded cable. Make sure, the potentiometer is mounted
electrically isolated.
