11. SHARPENING THE CUTTING TOOL
CAUTION:
The cutting tools listed below must only be re-sharpened by an authorized facility. Manual
edging will result in imbalances of the cutting tool, which will cause vibrations and damage to the equipment.
For PBC 33 BH/PBC 32 B (DYM246601) and PBC 43 BH/PBC 42 B (DYM246801)
Cutter blade
An expert sharpening and balancing service is provided by Authorized Service Agents.
NOTE
: To increase the service life of the cutter blade the blade may be turned over to allow both
cutting edges to wear.
Nylon cutting head
Warning of the danger of moving hazardous parts;
Your machine is supplied with a fully disposable cutting line cartridge which overcomes troublesome
rewinding of the cutting line.
1. To replace an empty cutting line cartridge, press both of the cap release latch on the spool holder and
boost up it out of the spool holder (Fig.17A).
2. Then remove the cap and spool out (Fig.17B).
3. Put the spring into the spool holder and feed the two cutting lines through the eyelets of the spool holder
and put the spool into the box (Fig.17C/Fig.17D).
4. Install the cap into the spool holder and lock into place by cap release latch. (Fig.17E/ Fig.17F)
5. To cut soft grass more efficiently, bump the nylon cutting head against the ground to feed out extra cord
as indicated under operation section.
