Fruit cocktail
Juice of 4 oranges, 2 mangoes (600g), 1 kiwi, juice of ½ lemon, 6 ice cubes
Peel the mangoes and the kiwi. Remove the stones from the mangoes. Put them in
the jug with the juice from the oranges and the lemon.
Run the blender for 10 seconds.
Add the ice cubes and run the blender for 30 seconds. Serve chilled.
Waffle mix
3 eggs, 250ml milk, 250g plain flour, 150g caster sugar, 1 packet of baker's yeast,
125g cooled melted butter
Put all of the ingredients in the blender except the flour. Add the flour through the
measuring cap hole during operation.
Blend for 2 minutes at maximum speed and with some pulses to make sure the flour
is mixed in properly.
Pancake mix
3 eggs, 750ml milk, 300g plain flour, 75g cooled melted butter
Put all of the ingredients in the blender except the flour. Add the flour through the
measuring cap hole during operation.
Blend for 2 minutes.
Hummus
400g cooked chickpeas, 50g lemon juice, 3 garlic cloves, 50ml olive oil, 100ml water,
a few pinches of chilli powder, salt and pepper.
Put all the ingredients in the blender.
Give 10 pulses with the pulse button then blend at maximum speed for
1 minutes 30 seconds.
Gazpacho
400g peeled and seeded tomatoes, 200g red pepper, 200g cucumber,
50g onion, 250ml water, 50g tomato purée, Tabasco®, salt and pepper.
Peel and de-seed the tomatoes. Peel and de-seed the cucumber. De-seed the red pepper.
Put all the ingredients in the blender.
Blend at maximum speed for 1 minute 30 seconds.
