Private Call
A call from an individual radio to another individual
radio. In order to make Private Call, your radio must be
programmed to initiate a Private Call.
Group Call
A call within the pre-defined group. To make Group
Call, your radio must be configured as part of that
group.
All Call
A call that recipient can only receive but unable to
response to it. To make All Call, the radio must be
programmed to initiate all call.

Making a Call from CONTACTS menu
The following steps explain how to make a call from
CONTACTS:

Press and navigate to
CONTACTS

Use or to scroll across the list of
selections available.
3 Once the radio displays the required Call ID, press
the
PTT button to make your call.

Features Available in Contacts
Entering each contact ID from the Contact List allows user
to perform on the following features. The following table
shows the features available and description of each
feature:
Features Description
VIEW
View contact ID.
QUICK CON‐
TACT
Set a current contact ID into Quick
Contact.
CALL ALERT
Send Call Alert to the target radio.
RADIO CHECK
Initiate Radio Check request will al-
low user to determine if the target ra-
dio is active in a system with receive
acknowledgment after request initi-
ated.
