Before Using the Camera
•
If the lens section is exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of
time, the color filter will change color.
•
After leaving this device in a warm environment for a long time, the
quality of photos and saved photos may deteriorate.
•
The camera is made from delicate parts and inside are elements that
can see light and dark. Also when using in dark places, there may be
blue, red and white spots.
•
If there are finger prints or grease on the lens, the pictures may be
blurred. Before taking a picture, wipe the lens with a soft glasses cloth.
The lens may become damaged if you are not gentle with the device.
•
Please make sure you don't put your fingers or hair over the lens.
•
Please be careful not to shake your hand. This can result in blurred
pictures. Either hold the device still or use the timer.
If there is not enough light in the room, blurriness is more likely to
occur.
Also be careful that your subject does not move.
•
Check that your subject is in the frame and use the shutter. If you
move the camera when the shutter goes, your picture may be blurred.
•
In a room with fluorescent lamps, you may get flicker on your photos (it
cannot be seen by the human eye as it is very slight). Thin lines do not
indicate a fault with the camera.
•
When taking a movie, do not cover the microphone with your finger.
Also, the quality of sound recorded will vary depending on the
environment and the loudness of the noise being recorded.
•
The color may be different to the actual subject's with photos taken
with this device. Depending on the subject and the light, parts may be
darker or lighter due to the lens' characteristics. Please also be aware
that parts of the subject may appear warped, depending on the lens
used.
•
When taking a movie of a strong light or interesting subject, there may
be purple lines or bands. This is not a fault.
•
When using the camera and you move the device suddenly, it may
lose focus. Please take another picture if this happens.
•
The following subjects may not focus properly.
•
Plain walls where there is little contrast with the subject
•
Subjects near a strong light
•
Subjects that are reflecting a lot of light
•
Subjects with a horizontal pattern like blinds
•
When there are a lot of different subjects at different distances
•
Subjects in a dark place
•
Subjects that move quickly
•
Please do not shine the camera light in a person's eyes. Do not gaze
at the light emitting part when the flash is on. Also do not aim the light
at other people's eyes. Doing so has a slight chance of damaging
eyesight.
•
Even if you have manner mode on, there will still be noises when you
use the auto-focus and take a picture. This will sound with all uses of
the camera. You cannot change this alert.
•
When using the camera, slight noises may ne heard of the camera's
operation. This is not a fault.
