for
SAR specified by Japan and international guidelines.
These international guidelines are established by an independent
scientific organization (ICNIRP) in conjunction with the World Health
Organization (WHO) and include a substantial safety margin designed
to ensure safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The radio
wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the
Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is
2.0 W/kg. The SAR of the head area for this mobile device is a maximum
of 0.595 W/kg. There may be slight differences between the SAR values
for each product, but they all satisfy the limit. The actual SAR value while
talking on the phone is usually well below that indicated above. This is
because cell phones are designed so that they output only the minimum
power required to communicate with cell phone stations. In general, the
closer the device is to the base station, the less output there is.
This mobile device can be used in locations other than the head.By
carrying the mobile device in an au carrying case F black (0105FCA) (sold
separately) as recommended by KDDI, this mobile device will satisfy
international guidelines

recommended by KDDI, the mobile device should be at a distance of at
least 1.5 inches away from the body and whatever product should be
free of metal.
