Tip: For the quickest way to customize your phone,
open the Start menu by pressing the Left Soft key

scroll to Personalize My Device and press the Center

) to see more personalizing options.
profiles
Each profile uses a different set of sounds, ring styles,
earpiece volume settings, or vibrations for incoming
calls and other events. For example, the Outdoor profile
volume is much louder than the Normal profile.
You can choose from these profiles:
To choose a profile:
1 From the home screen, press and hold the Home
key (
X
) to open the Quick List.
2 Use the Directional key (
S
) to scroll to a profile
and press the Center Select key (
s
) to select it.
Indicators can appear at the top of your home screen
for the Silent (
Q
) and Vibrate (
<
) profiles. The indicator
%
means the speakerphone is on (see page 21).
Note: The Automatic profile is the same as Normal , except
that it automatically switches to Vibrate during any event
stored in your Calendar.
