Connection to Power, Accessories and Network
The MCD 5000 Deskset supports the following accessories (see Figure 2-4 ):
1.
K-Style Handset with built in PTT Button.
2.
Power Supply Unit: 110/220 VAC to 12 VDC Power Supply Unit.

OTE
Power Supply Unit is not required when the MCD 5000 Deskset is connected to an
EXTERNAL LAN PoE type:802.3AF class 0 (12.5 W Max).

Desk Paddle Microphone - provides two buttons - one button controls General Transmit
and the other controls the Monitor feature.

Footswitch - provides two pedals - one pedal controls General Transmit and the other
controls the Monitor feature.

Headset: supports connection of a single earpiece and microphone

Headset Base: Headset Base with PTT Button provides connectivity to the headset with
PTT functionality. The Headset Base without PTT Button provides connectivity to the
headset.

At the points, drill two holes in the wall, insert anchors, screw the wall mounting
screws into the anchors and stop when there is 3.2mm (0.125 in.) between the
screws head and the wall.

Align the slot on the Base with the screws on the wall. Attach the MCD 5000
Deskset to the wall and press downwards to lock the MCD 5000 Deskset into
place.
