Making IMS Multi-Party Conference Calls
If your private system supports VoLTE calls, users can make and receive conference calls to, and from
other users. If you are unable to use Multi-Party Conference calling, contact your system administrator.
When and where to use: Use this procedure to create a conference phone session with up to three
people on the LEX device.
Procedure:
1 On the Home screen, tap .
2 In the To field, type a name or phone number to add recipients. As you enter text, matching
contacts appear. Tap from the contact list.
User can also initiate calls to contacts from the following actions:
If... Then...
You want to call a contact, Tap .
You want to call a contact in your favorites, Tap Favorites .
You want to call a contact in your history list, Tap History .
You want to make a call with the dialer, Tap .
3 Tap to initiate the call.
If... Then...
You want to turn on the speakerphone, Tap .
You want to mute the call, Tap .
4 When the call connects, tap → Add Call .
The first call is placed on hold.
5 Tap the keys to enter the second phone number.
6 Tap below the dialer to initiate the call.
7 When the call connects, the first call is placed on hold and the second call is active.
8 Tap to create a conference call with three people.
9 Tap → Add Call to add another call.
The conference is placed on hold.
10 Tap the keys to enter the second phone number.
11 Tap below the dialer to initiate the call.
