Setting the radio volume level is insignificant. However, set the
volume knob to minimum to save battery power in case of power
failure.
Operation
Turn the radio ON-OFF/Volume knob to the ON position.
Removing The Mobile Radio
To remove the radio from the RTU proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the DC power.
2. Disconnect the DC power and antenna cable from the radio.
3. Disconnect the communication cable.
4. Remove the screws securing the radio to its mounting bracket.
Installing The Mobile Radio
To install the radio from the RTU proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the DC power.
2. Place the radio and secure the screw of the mounting bracket to the door.
3. Reconnect the communication cable.
4. Reconnect the DC power and antenna cables to the radio.
