EAS Functional
Description
The EAS provides a central location for site alarm signal processing. The
EAS monitors environmental conditions of the site, including AC power,
smoke alarms, intrusion alarms, antenna tower lights, etc.
Alarm wiring from the EBTS equipment and power supply equipment
connects directly to the EAS. The EAS sends alarm flags to the Site
Controller, which stores the alarms in memory.
Figure 10-1 shows the EAS front view and Figure 10-3 shows the EAS rear
view.
