Enabling VLAN Stacking through the CLI
The Command Line Interface (CLI) can be used to enable or disable VLAN stacking.
1.
Use the
bridge cable modem
command to enable VLAN stacking for a particular
cable modem, as follows:
MOT(config)#
bridge cable modem

where:
mac
is the
cable modem’s MAC Address in the form xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.
2-4094
is the VLAN ID number.
stackable
enables VLAN stacking.

Use the
no bridge cable modem
command to disable VLAN stacking for a
particular cable modem, as follows:

no bridge cable modem
