Your safe comes with several default settings you should be aware of before beginning set up.
During set up, you will change the default user access code. We recommend activating the
temper detection as soon as you complete the initial set up.

Power Requirements
Your XL Smart Safe requires 4 x CC batteries for non-corded power. You may use your safe without
batteries by plugging it into a standard US 120 V wall outlet. We recommend inserting batteries to
maintain powered access to your safe in case of a power outage.
