Safety Instructions
1. Read all instructions.
2. The blender may only be connected to the mains supply if the type of current is the same as
that shown on the rating plate.
3. Never immerse the upper part of your blender in water.
4. Do not place your blender where it can fall into water. If the appliance accidentally falls into
water. Do not touch it. Unplug immediately.
5. The appliance must not be switched on before the blender head has been placed in the
mixing bowl.

Caution:
Never take the blender head out of the mixing bowl while it is still rotating.
7. Never use the appliance in hot fat
(there is a danger of splashes and you could burn
yourself).
8. Avoid letting the blender head running dry for any length of time.
9. Keep the appliance out of reach of children when plugged in.
10. Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning.
11. Do not use the blender if the lead or the plug have been damaged.
12. Should any repair be necessary, including replacement of the lead, send the appliance
back to the dealer from whom it was purchased or to service centre, as special tools
have to be used. Repairs to electrical appliances must ever be carried out by a qualified
electrician. Improper attempts at repairs can result in serious danger for the user.

Operating instructions
1. Your blender will be a big help to you, and you will be able to prepare a large number of
dishes and drinks effortlessly with its aid:
- producing mixed drinks
- mixing liquids
- cutting up fruit and vegetables very small
- producing emulsions (e.g. mayonnaise, sauces, creams, toppings, and desserts based on
dairy products).
- making purée for vegetable soups or boiled baby-food
- preparing cocktails and shakes.
2. Before you starting using the blender for the first time, it is advisable for reasons of hygiene to
clean the blender head. Dry the blender head well before using.
3. After five working cycles consisting of about 1 minute’s operation and 1 minute’s interruption,
a longer break of about 30 minutes is necessary in order to allow the appliance to cool down.
4. Use a high-sided mixing bowl to prevent spitting and spillage.
5. Light upward and downward movements of the blender permit the material being worked on
to be handled in the best possible way. Make sure that:
- the blender head never has more than two-thirds of its length immersed in the material.
- the mixing bowl is never more than two-thirds full (to avoid the danger of splashes).
Cleaning the appliance
DO NOT PLACE THE APPLIANCE IN THE DISHWASHER.
The blender is easily be cleaned and this should be done after each use. Just rinse the lower part of
the appliance under running water (do not switch on!).
If bits of food stick to the mixer put the blender head in a bowl of hot water and let it run for a little
while. Do not let water get into the switch.
