Appendix 1 Recommended Torque for Main bearing
Bolts of 12M26 Series
1.1 Main bearing bolt and main bearing cover auxiliary bolt:

Before assembling the main bearing bolts and auxiliary bolts, apply lubricating oil to the
threads and carrying surfaces.

）
Pre-tighten the main bearing bolts and main bearing cover auxiliary bolts in sequence to
80N.m.
c
）
Tighten the main bearing bolts alternatively and uniformly in sequence by two steps.
Manual tightening: 200N.m for first step and 550N.m for second step.

Tighten the main bearing cover auxiliary bolts as follow sequence of Fig1 to 270N•m
