PREPARATION BEFORE STARTING MASS PRODUCTION F-49
13-3
Synchronous Operation (M34, M234, M35, M235)
There are two synchronous operation modes such as phase synchronous operation mode called
by M34 or M234 and the speed synchronous operation mode called by M35 or M235.
When executing the synchronous operation, four patterns as shown below are assumed.
1.
To start the synchronous operation in the state both spindle are stopped.
2.
To start the synchronous operation in the state spindle 1 is rotating with spindle 2 stopped.
3.
To start the synchronous operation in the state spindle 1 is stopped with spindle 2 rotating.
4.
To start the synchronous operation in the state both spindles are rotating.
Since operating procedure for patterns 3. and 4. is identical to that for pattern 2., the explanation
below gives the procedure for patterns 1. and 2.
As explained before, there are four turret and spindle combinations.
Based on these combinations, the following two patterns are described.
1.
Both turrets are used for spindle 1
2.
Turret 1 is used for spindle 1 and turret 2 for spindle 2
