Cautions when Operating the Parts Catcher
When operating the parts catcher by the manual operation or the automatic operation, the
necessary conditions must be satisfied. If the parts catcher cannot be operated although the
operation procedure is correctly followed, check if the following conditions are all satisfied.
<Conditions required for parts catcher IN/OUT operation>
1.
The front door is closed.
2.
The STATUS indicator
[MRDY]
is lit.
3.
The protection cover of the tool presetter arm is mounted to the base.
(With the automatic presetter, the presetter arm is at the retracted position.)
4.
The holding box is in. (Bucket specification)
5.
The B-axis is returned to the zero point.
6.
The 2nd X-axis is returned to the zero point.
<Conditions required for parts catcher OUT operation>
1.
The 2nd Z-axis is at the position indicated below. (Bucket specification)
<Other Conditions>
1.
Move turret 1 to a position where interference will not occur before starting the parts
catcher OUT operation.
2.
While the parts catcher is out, the 2nd Z-axis does not move. (Bucket specification)
3.
Pay sufficient care when operating axes, since axis movements are possible even if
the parts catcher is OUT. (Hand specification)
