Spindle Clamp/Unclamp Operation
While the rotary tool spindle is selected, the spindle can be clamped and unclamped manually.
Spindle clamp/unclamp operation is not possible while the spindle is rotating, the rotary
tool spindle is rotating, or the C-axis is being indexed.
1)
Place the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch in the
NORMAL
position.
2)
Close the front door.
3)
Place the PANEL key-switch in one of the positions
indicated below.
(ON)
(PANEL/EDIT)
4)
Select the spindle (spindle 1 side or spindle 2 side)
to be operated by the HEAD CHANGE switch
(head 1) or
(head 2). (S type)
It is not possible to select spindle 1 or spindle 2 in
the state the spindle has been clamped.
For the selection of spindle 1 or spindle 2, press
the
(UCL) switch to unclamp the main spindle
and then select spindle 1 or spindle 2 by the
HEAD CHANGE switch
(head 1) or
(head 2).
5)
Select any of the following modes with the MODE
selection switch.
(handle)
(jog)
(rapid traverse)
(zero return)
