Shift Key
(SHIFT)
Each key on the NC operation panel contains two
characters; the
(SHIFT) key is used to input the
character located in the lower right hand corner of the
keys.
<Example> To key in "A"
1)
Press the
(SHIFT) key.
"^" is displayed on the key input buffer (on the
second line but one from the bottom).
2)
Press the
key.
"A" is not displayed when the
key is pressed
while holding the
(SHIFT) key.

Cancel Key
(CAN)
The
(CAN) key is used to delete the data entered in
the key input buffer (displayed above the soft-keys)
character by character from right to left.
<Example>
If the
(CAN) key is pressed while the key input buffer
data currently displayed is "N001X100Z", the last
character "Z" is deleted and the display changes to
"N001X100".
The program data already stored in the NC
memory cannot be deleted using the
(CAN)
key.
