•  Do not attempt to mount curbs higher than those indicated in the technical specifications.
•  Do not put your hands or legs outside the electric wheelchair while driving.
•  Do not drive the electric wheelchair on slippery roads or when it is snowing.

•   Do not allow unsupervised children to play near the electric wheelchair when the batteries

are charging.

Do not use the wheelchair without first reading and understanding this manual

completely.

9. WARNINGS ON USE

9.1 General warnings

1.   Do not use the electric wheelchair on public highways. Please be aware that it may be

difficult for drivers to see you when you are sitting on the electric wheelchair. Always use
pedestrian routes. Comply with the rules of pedestrian traffic. Wait for the way to be clear,
then proceed with extreme caution.

2.   Before getting into or out of your electric wheelchair, always check that it is switched off

and that the battery charger is disconnected, to avoid injury to yourself or to others.

3.   Always check that the drive wheels are in drive mode before driving. Do not switch off the

electric wheelchair when it is still moving, as it would stop very suddenly.

4.   Do not use this product or any other optional accessory available without first reading

and understanding this manual completely. If you do not understand the warnings,
the precautions or the instructions, contact the retailer or a healthcare operator before
attempting to use the device, to avoid injury or damage.

5.   In certain cases, such as certain medical conditions, the user of the electric wheelchair will

need practice in its use in the presence of a qualified assistant, who may be a relative or
a professional qualified to assist the user, in use of the electric wheelchair during various
everyday activities.

6.   Avoid lifting or moving the electric wheelchair by gripping one of its removable parts,

including the armrests, seat or fairing. This could cause personal injury and/or damage the
wheelchair.

7.  Avoid using the electric wheelchair beyond its limits, as described in this manual.
8.  Do not sit on the electric wheelchair when it is inside a moving vehicle.
9.   Keep your hands away from the wheels (tyres) while driving the electric wheelchair.

Please remember that loose clothing could get caught in the wheels.

10.  Consult your doctor if you are taking drugs or if you have specific physical limitations.

Certain drugs and certain limitations could affect the ability to use the electric wheelchair
safely.

11.  Always check that the wheel locking/unlocking lever is locked or unlocked.
12.  Do not remove the roll-over protection wheels if they are present on the electric wheelchair.
13.  Contact with tools could cause an electric shock; do not connect an electrical extension

cord to the AC / DC converter or to the battery charger.

14.  Although the electric wheelchair is designed for slopes with a gradient up to 8°/14%, try to

avoid slopes with a gradient over 6° (10%) and take extreme care when turning on a slope.

15. Do not drive on a slope over the limit of the electric wheelchair.
16.  Avoid reversing off steps, pavements or other obstacles. This could cause the electric

wheelchair to fall or tip over.

17.  Always reduce speed and maintain a stable centre of gravity on sharp bends. Do not use

the maximum power on sharp bends.

18.  Using the electric wheelchair in the rain, snow or foggy conditions and on icy or slippery

surfaces could damage the electrical wiring.
