Install the safety wire (MS20995-C) to (6)

mounting screws in the servo mount arm.

REFER TO INSTALLATION STANDARD PRACTIC-

ES, GARMIN DOCUMENT 001- 00029- 00 FOR ALL

FASTENER TORQUES EXCEPT AS NOTED.

Visually inspect the connectors to ensure

there are no bent or damaged pins. Repair any dam-

age, and connect pigtail connector. Tie wrap pigtail

to existing harness under control panel.

G. Remove aileron rig pin.
H. Operate all controls through full travel and en-

sure that no binding or restriction occurs. Maintain a

0.10” minimum clearance between push rod and

structure through full range of motion.

I. Configure software (if required) and test per

the G1000 Line Maintenance and Configuration

Manual (#190- 00303- 04 Rev F and or later FAA ap-

proved revision) for more detailed information.

J.

Install center console panels and belly fairing.

22-10-02 PITCH TRIM SERVO AND SERVO

MOUNT

1. Removal of Pitch Trim Servo P/N 011-00878-20

A. Ensure aircraft power is off. Unplug any auxil-

iary power supplies.

B. Set the elevators in neutral position.
C.

Remove LH and RH Tailcone access panels,

and locate GFC700 Pitch Servo Mount.

D.

Disconnect servo pigtail connector.

E.

Remove the (2) mounting bolts from Pitch

Trim Servo to Servo Mount.

F. Remove the unit.

-CAUTION-

USE CARE WHEN REMOVING SERVO

MOUNT FROM AIRCRAFT NOT TO ALLOW

ANY FOREIGN OBJECT DEBRIS TO ENTER

SERVO MOUNT ORIFICES (CLUTCH ASSY).

Remove excess grease build- up from the

single servo output gear using a lint- free cloth.

-NOTE-

It is not necessary to remove all of the grease

from the output gear, only the excess grease. DO

NOT USE SOLVENTS TO CLEAN THE OUTPUT

GEAR.
