Adjust potentiometer R2 until analog meter reading is identical to the hanging
weight.
(If non-cabinet version is used, see digital display: tension will appear as
a percentage value [%]).

Remove weight and check that tension meter returns to zero. If not, repeat steps
4 to 7.

If a second calibration range is used, repeat steps 4 to 8, using potentiometer R3
for calibration of second range.
4.2 Regulation Parameter, Gain, Ratio, P and D
Gain.
At small roll diameters, adjusts speed of regulator's response to errors. The
parameter can be adjusted in a range of 0 to 63 steps. The higher the value, the faster
the reaction to errors.
Not recommended:
parameters lower than 5.
Note:
To access setup menu, scroll to
[Password]
and enter 5.
Ratio.
At large roll diameters, the ratio adjusts speed of regulator's response to
errors. The parameter can be adjusted in the range of 0 to 63 steps. The higher the
value, the faster the reaction to errors.
Not recommended:
parameters lower than
10.
P-level.
Proportional gain level of the PID regulator. The parameter can be adjusted
in a range of 0 to 63 steps. The higher the value, the bigger the P- level in the PID
regulator.
D-level.
Derivative gain level of the PID regulator. The parameter can be adjusted in
a range of 0 to 63 steps. The higher the value, the bigger the D -level in the PID
regulator.
Note:
for load cell controllers, D-level is normally set at 0.
