BRAKES
Your mini bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes. If you cannot stop your
mini bike properly, you need to check for proper fluid level. Fluid should be clear
and proper leve as indicated on the fluid level indicator located on your handle-
bars. Checking proper fluid level should be part of your regular maintenance
routine.
After checking the fluid level, if you’re still having trouble stopping the mini bike,
see one of our authorized service centers to chnage and adjust fluid levels.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT) INSPECTION
Loss of speed over time while riding your mini bike may be due to a worn CVT
belt. You should inspect the CVT belt for fraying and cracking every 3 months. If
fraying or cracking is visible contact Monster Moto customer service for assis-
tance or take your mini bike to an Authorized Monster Moto Service Center.
To inspect the CVT belt, remove the CVT cover by removing the 4 bolts holding
the cover in place. Inspect the belt for wear as shown below.
