To prevent damage to internal components, do not store
this device in excessively dusty, dirty, or sandy areas.
•
Do not store this device in conditions of excessively high
temperatures. Excessively high temperatures can shorten
the life of electronic components, damage batteries, and
warp or melt plastic parts. Do not store in direct sunlight.
•
Do not store this device in conditions of excessively low
temperatures. When the device warms up, moisture could
form inside, which can short-circuit electronic components.
•
Do not expose this device to excessive vibration.
•
Test this device for proper operation before use.
•
Do not open the battery cover or otherwise remove power
when taking pictures or recording video. Doing so could
cause a failure to save the image/video and/or corrupt other
data on the microSD
™
storage card.
•
Remove the battery from the camera if it will go unused for
a long period of time.
•
To keep the battery fresh and capable of holding a full
charge, it should be charged at least once every three (3)
months.
•
This device uses the commonly available SLB-10A Lithium-
ion battery. Use only the battery that came with this device
or an exact equivalent
(PID 11414
) or a suitable
replacement. An extended battery pack and replacement
waterproof case cover is also available (
PID 11421
), as is
an AA battery pack with replacement case cover (
PID
11422
). PID numbers are subject to change.
