Changing the Auto-Off Time
To conserve battery life, you can set the camera to automatically
power off after a defined period of inactivity. Perform the following
steps to change the amount of time for the Auto-Off function:
1.
Power the camera ON.

Press the
Power/Mode
button
repeatedly until the
Set
mode is
displayed.
3.
Press the
Shutter
button to enter the
Set
mode menu.
4.
Press the
Power/Mode
button once to
move the highlight to the
More
entry.
5.
Press the
Shutter
button to enter the
More
menu.
6.
Press the
Power/Mode
button
repeatedly to move the highlight to the
Auto-Off
icon.
7.
Press the
Shutter
button to enter the
Auto-Off
menu.
8.
Press the
Power/Mode
button
repeatedly until the desired period of
camera inactivity before it automatically
shuts off is displayed. You can choose

,
3
,
5
,
10
,
30
, or
60
minutes, or to turn the function off
entirely.
9.
Press the
Shutter
button to confirm your
selection.
10. Repeatedly press the
Power/Mode
button until the
Exit
menu option is highlighted.
