IR CONTROL
This kit features bi-directional infrared pass-through. It includes one IR receiver and four IR
transmitters, which allows for control of the remote displays/projectors from the source
location. In order to control the source device from the remote locations, you will need to
provide four IR receivers and one IR transmitter.
Controlling the Display Devices
The default use for the IR extension feature is to control the remote displays from the
source location. One IR receiver and four IR transmitters are supplied to this end. To control
the remote devices, plug an IR transmitter into the IR OUT port on each of the receivers,
then position the IR emitter where it can transmit IR signals to the IR receiving eye on the
remote display/projector. Next, plug the IR receiver into the IR ALL IN jack on the splitter,
then position the IR eye where it can receive signals from the remote control(s).
Following is a sample connection diagram for this IR control method.
