Lubricating the X and Y Axes
To lubricate the X and Y axis guide rods, add a single drop of sewing machine oil to each
guide rod, then move the extruder and print bed through the full motion in the X and Y
axes. Remove any excess oil to prevent dust accumulation.
Motor Connections
Periodically check the cable connections to all the stepper motors and sensors to ensure
that they are securely connected.
Print Mat
Periodically check the print mat for defects. When the mat becomes worn, it should be
replaced. Remove the old mat, then apply the new one. If you do not have any additional
mats, you can use ordinary masking tape, painter's tape, or Kapton® tape.
