Applications
The black/white camera TVCCD-310 with fixed fixfo-
cus lens has especially been designed for the use in
monitoring and alarm systems. To conceal the cam-
era it is mounted into a shaded dome housing to be
fixed at the ceiling. Due to the pan/tilt mechanism in
the housing the inclination as well as the visual direc-
tion of the camera can be adjusted as desired.
Safety Notes
•
The camera corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
•
The camera is only suitable for use inside dry
rooms.
•
Protect the camera against humidity and heat (per-
missible operating temperature range 0-40 °C).
•
The lenses of the lens assembly must be protected
against dust or other impurities and must not be
touched with the fingers in any case.
•
For the cleaning only use a dry cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
•
If the camera is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended, if it is connected in the wrong way
or not repaired by skilled personnel, no liability can
be taken over for possible damage.
Setting into Operation
1) Slightly turn the housing dome to the left and take
it off. Pull the connecting cable of the camera
through the cable inlet slot of the housing and fix
the housing at a suitable place at the ceiling.
2) Connect the phono plug of the connecting cable of
the camera via a 75
Ω
extension cable to the video
input jack of the monitor. Watch the correct 75
Ω
termination at the monitor resp. in case of series
connection at the last monitor. With a cable length
of more than 100 m a video amplifier should be
inserted between the camera and the long cable to
compensate for cable losses. When using several
cameras, connect a video quad processor (e. g.
MONACOR TVSP-410) or a sequential switch for
video cameras (e. g. MONACOR TVS-410/-810)
between the cameras and the monitor.
3) For the power supply to the 12 V DC inline jack
connect a regulated 12 V power supply (e. g.
MONACOR PS-12CCD or PS-128A). The current
consumption is approx. 120 mA. For the connec-
tion to the power supply a plug 5.0/2.1 mm (out-
side/inside diameter) is necessary. The positive
pole of the plug must be at the centre pin.
After connecting the supply voltage the camera
is ready for operation.
4) Place the camera into the desired position by turn-
ing and tilting it.
5) If the image reproduction is not clear at a distance
of approx. 5 m, the mechanical focus setting for the
lens must be adjusted. For this loosen the small
screw at the lens support. Carefully turn the lens
so far until the picture is clear. Then tighten the
screw again.
6) Attach the dome again and slightly turn it to the
right until it is locked.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die Schwarzweißkamera TVCCD-310 mit fest einge-
bautem Fixfokus-Objektiv ist speziell für den Einsatz
in Überwachungs- und Alarmanlagen konzipiert. Zur
Tarnung ist die Kamera in ein getöntes Kuppelge-
häuse eingebaut, das an der Decke montiert wird. Die
Schwenk-/Neigevorrichtung im Gehäuse ermöglicht
es, sowohl die Neigung als auch die Blickrichtung der
Kamera wie gewünscht einzustellen.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
•
Die Kamera entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
•
Die Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung in trockenen
Innenräumen geeignet.
•
Schützen Sie die Kamera vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0-40 °C).
•
Die Linsen des Objektivs unbedingt vor Staub oder
sonstiger Verschmutzung schützen und auf gar kei-
nen Fall mit den Fingern berühren.
•
Für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes Staubtuch ver-
wenden, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
•
Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für
eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen
werden.
Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Gehäusekuppel leicht nach links drehen und
abnehmen. Das Anschlußkabel der Kamera durch
den Kabeldurchführungsschlitz des Gehäuses zie-
hen und das Gehäuse an geeigneter Stelle an der
Decke befestigen.
2) Den Cinch-Stecker des Kamera-Anschlußkabels
über ein 75
Ω
-Verlängerungskabel an die Video-
Eingangsbuchse des Monitors anschließen. Dabei
auf den korrekten 75-
Ω
-Abschluß am Monitor bzw.
bei Serienschaltung am letzten Monitor achten.
Bei einer Kabellänge von mehr als 100 m sollte ein
Videoverstärker zwischen die Kamera und das
lange Kabel geschaltet werden, um die Kabelver-
luste auszugleichen. Beim Einsatz von mehreren
Kameras einen Video-Splitter (z. B. MONACOR
TVSP-410) oder einen Kamera-Umschalter (z. B.
MONACOR TVS-410/-810) zwischen die Kame-
ras und den Monitor schalten.
3) Zur Stromversorgung an die 12-V-Kleinspannungs-
kupplung ein elektronisch stabilisiertes 12-V-Netz-
gerät (z. B. MONACOR PS-12CCD oder PS-128A)
anschließen. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt ca.
120 mA. Zum Anschluß an die Stromversorgung
wird ein Stecker 5,0/2,1 mm (Außen-/Innendurch-
messer) benötigt. Am Mittelkontakt des Steckers
muß sich der Pluspol befinden.
Nach dem Anlegen der Versorgungsspannung
ist die Kamera betriebsbereit.
4) Die Kamera durch Drehen und Schwenken in die
gewünschte Stellung bringen.
5) Wenn ein Objekt in ca. 5 m Entfernung unscharf
abgebildet wird, muß das Auflagemaß korrigiert
werden. Dazu die kleine Schraube am Objektiv-
halter lösen. Das Objektiv vorsichtig so weit drehen,
bis das Bild scharf ist. Anschließend die Schraube
wieder festdrehen.
6) Die Kuppel wieder aufsetzen und leicht nach
rechts drehen, bis sie einrastet.
