Care
7.1 Cleaning and disinfection
No humidity must be allowed to enter into the device.
Before cleaning and disinfecting the device surfaces, disconnect the mains
plug.
Use a lint-free, soft cloth for cleaning and disinfecting.
Wipe the device to clean and disinfect it. Immersing or spraying the device
may lead to hazards.
Start the cleaning process using a cloth dampened with mild soap solution or 70% isopro-
panol solution.
After cleaning, disinfect the surfaces of the Docon 7 with a pH-neutral, approved detergent-
alcohol based disinfectant with up to 70% alcohol (e.g. Propan-1-ol, recommended disin-
fectant: Meliseptol
®
). During disinfection, follow the instructions of the disinfectant manu-
facturer.
Ensure that the cleaning agents and disinfectants have completely evaporated before using
the Docon 7.
Visual inspection: The sockets of all connections and plugs of the cables to be connected
must be free of all types of dirt.
The tray can be removed for cleaning by pulling it upward.
7.2 Maintenance
Safety check
A safety check as per the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance must be performed
at least every 12 months. Only use the Docon 7 if the device is functioning safely and safe
to operate. Otherwise it must be repaired immediately by the service team.

facturer's authorised service partners.
