Installation and Setup of StakMax® system

Starting the Software Calibration

To calibrate the software

Double-click the SoftMax Pro icon located on the desktop to open

the SoftMax Pro software.

Click the StakMax icon located on the menu bar. After a few

seconds, the StakMax software interface appears.

Click

Calibrate

Note:

Before proceeding with this section, make sure that you have both

pieces of the calibration alignment tool (clear and black), the included Phillips

screwdriver, and the included microplate. You can find these components in

the accessory kit.

Note:

You must have SoftMax Pro software version 5.1 or later to

operate the StakMax instrument.

Note:

Do not use the purple plate adapter when performing the

calibration. Use the purple adapter only when reading a plate in the top

read mode.
