Communication Protocol
The communication protocol is designed as a one-character command/reply
protocol. The host sends one ASCII character and the washer replies that the
command has been received and performs the action.
Commands entered by pressing keys on the front panel of the washer are
accepted in the same way as those sent via serial communication.

pressing the Start key on the control panel. The
SkanWasher 300 begins washing the micro-
plate using the currently selected wash pro-

pressure, waste level, and microplate sensor
will be verified prior to initiating the wash.
