Updating Magnification Settings
Before you begin this procedure, make sure that the MetaXpress software is NOT in
maintenance mode. See
Entering the Focus Objective Values in the Meta Imaging Series
Administrator Software on page 228 .
To update magnification settings:
1. Start the MetaXpress software.
2. Do one of the following to display the Configure Magnification dialog:
From the simplified menu, click Control > Devices > Configure Magnification.
From the standard menu, click Devices > Configure Magnification.

1. Do one of the following to display the Configure Magnification dialog:
From the simplified menu, click Control > Devices > Configure Magnification.
From the standard menu, click Devices > Configure Magnification.
2. Select the ImageXpress Micro Objective check box.
3. Click the Setting drop-down and select the installed objective.
4. In the Name field, enter the name for the new objective.
5. Click Add/Replace to add the objective to the Defined Settings list.
6. If you replaced an objective with an existing setting, select the old setting in the Defined
Settings list and click Remove.
7. After the settings update, click Backup and save the magnification file.
8. Click Close.
