Editing Filter Settings
The ImageXpress Confocal HT.ai system uses emission filters and dichroic mirror filters. If
needed, you can edit the settings for the emission filters in the Meta Imaging Series
Administrator Software.
CAUTION! We strongly recommend that you do not edit the settings for the dichroic
mirror filters (unless advised to do so by Molecular Devices Technical Support.
Editing Emission Filter Settings
To edit emission filter settings:
1. Click Start > MetaXpress 6 > Meta Imaging Series Administrator to display the Meta
Imaging Series Administrator dialog.
2. In the List of Groups, select MetaXpress and click Configure Hardware to display the
Configure Hardware dialog.
3. In the Hardware Settings list, select a hardware configuration and click Configure Devices
to display the User Settings dialog.
4. In the Claimed Devices list, under ImageXpress Confocal Module, double-click IXConfocal
Module Emission Wheel to display the IXConfocal Module Emission Wheel Settings
dialog.

5. In the Position Labels field, enter the filter name.
Note: We recommend you enter the labels as shown above.
6. Click OK to display the User Settings dialog.
7. Click OK to display the Configure Hardware dialog.
8. If multiple hardware configurations are present and are affected by the change, repeat
these steps for each hardware configuration.
9. Click OK to display the Meta Imaging Series Administrator Software dialog.
10. Click OK to exit the software.
