Saving Plate Acquisition Protocols
You can save a plate acquisition protocol to the database or to a file. If you plan to integrate
your ImageXpress Confocal HT.ai system with a robot for automated plate loading, you must
save the protocol to a file.
Saving Plate Acquisition Protocols to the Database
To save a plate acquisition protocol to the database:
1. Click Save Protocol to display the Save Acquisition Protocol dialog.
2. In the Protocol Name field, enter the name for the protocol.
3. Click Save.
You can now acquire plate data with the saved protocol.
Saving Plate Acquisition Protocols to a File
Plate acquisition protocol files have a .hst file type that you cannot change.
To save a plate acquisition protocol to a file:
1. Click Save Protocol to display the Save Acquisition Protocol dialog.
2. Select the Save to File Rather Than Database check box.
3. Click Save to display the Plate Acquisition Setting dialog.
4. Navigate to the location to save the file.
5. In the File Name field, enter the name for the protocol.
6. Click Save.
You can now acquire plate data with the saved protocol.
