Restricting Functions
By default, no passcode is set, and all functions are available to all users.
The AquaMax Microplate Washer can be set up to use an Administrative
passcode to prevent unintentional modifications to stored programs,
plate types, and instrument settings. Setting an administrative passcode
restricts access to the following program editing functions and options:
You can access the restricted functions by touching the Admin button
and entering the administrative passcode. The passcode must be entered
for each tab separately.
To set or change the passcode
1.
Touch
Admin
and type in the current passcode to enter
Administrative mode.
2.
Touch
Change Passcode
in the
Options
tab.
3.
Type a new passcode using the on-screen keypad.
4.
Touch
OK
to save and exit.
To remove the administrative passcode
1.
Touch
Admin
and type in the current passcode to enter
Administrative mode.
2.
Touch
Change Passcode
in the
Options
tab.
3.
Delete the existing passcode using the back arrow key.
4.
Touch
OK
to save and exit.
New (Program, Plates)
Copy (Program)
Rename (Program)
Restack (Options)
Delete (Program, Plates)
Change passcode (Options)
Calibrate screen (Options)
Shutdown options (Options)
Edit (Program, Plates)
Note:
If the Change Passcode button is unavailable, a passcode has
been set previously.
