MAIN MENU: RECIPE
The structure of the recipe menu is the same as for the PROGRAM
menu (
The following provides an overview of the menu structure:
EXTERNAL/INTERNAL
The menus have the same structure.
MAIN MENU: DEVICE
The device menu is used to make all the entries relating to the PLC
itself. This includes settings for the interface, the clock, security
parameters and the dialog language.
NETWORK
The device has several default settings for the network connection,
as can be seen from the following displays. These are IP-ADDRESS,
IP-MASK, GATEWAY and NAME.
IP-ADDRESS: The default address can be modified. You can then
select from BACK/EDIT/ENTER by turning the MSS. After the
address has been accepted, the system is started up with the new
address.
IP-MASK: This displays the default value.
GATEWAY: 000.000.000.000 is entered as the address. This
switches off the Gateway function.
NAME:
DATE/TIME
Set the date and time here. The procedure is the same as in Section
“Entering passwords”,
SECURITY
This menu is used to set the password.
Function: the password is used to protect the status of the PLC and
its parameter settings from unauthorised access.
The status and settings are accepted and frozen when the
password is activated. No more parameters can then be set via the
menu.
