RELAY TYPE
3
The SPI1 must be programmed with a relay type that
encodes the necessary information to drive a particular
relay in the correct manner. All Mobiltex
®
provided
relays will have a relay type printed on the label.
For relays not provided by Mobiltex
®
, please see
Appendix A for information on computing the correct
relay type number. Setting this value incorrectly may
cause erratic operation of the interruption relay.
Entry range is 0 to 999.
TIME ZONE OFFSET
-7:00 -4=AST -7=MST
0=- -5=EST -8=PST
1=+ -6=CST
Offset from UTC to local time in hours. The SPI1 does
not perform automatic daylight savings time
compensation so the offset must be changed manually
when daylight saving time changes occur. Common
offset values are shown on the SPI1 when changing the
time zone field. Fractional hour entries with 0, 15, 30
and 45 minute offsets are allowed.
OFFSET (ms)
1000
0-5000 RANGE
Interruption offset parameter that allows the interruption
cycle to be skewed by several seconds with a 1ms
granularity. To align exactly to UTC time, this parameter
should be set to
2000ms
.
CLONE SCHEDULES/PARM
ENTER/OK TO START
CANCEL/BACK TO ABORT
Selecting this item allows the SPI1 to clone its entire
configuration including schedules, relay type, time zone,
and offset to a second SPI1. A cloning cable must be
attached between the two SPI1 communications ports.
FORMAT DATALOGGER
ENTER/OK TO START
CANCEL/BACK TO ABORT
Selecting this item will format the storage media on the
SDL1 datalogger unit. All data files on the datalogger
are wiped out if this item is confirmed with the
[ENTER/OK] key. This item is only visible on the menu
if the SDL1 datalogger option board is installed.
BACKLIGHT ALWAYS ON
WITH EXTERNAL POWER
YES
1=YES,0=NO
When this parameter is set to ‘yes’, the LCD backlight
will always be on when the SPI1 is power through an
external power source. When set to ‘no’, the backlight
will turn off after a timeout period. This parameter has
no effect on operation of the backlight when the SPI1 is
running on internal batteries. (Firmware v1.09 or higher)
