Obstacles

 

You need to overcome some obstacles during your daily use of your electric mobility 

chair, these obstacles  include threshold, elevator, ramp, pits and broken pavement, 

etc.

Thresholds are very dangerous. Even a small height change may cause the electric 

mobility chair to tilt and roll over. 

You  may  have  to  install  ramps  at  entry  or  exit  doors  as  well  as  remove  or  cover 

threshold strips between rooms. 

When  operating  the  electric  mobility chair,  beware of obstacles and avoid them as 

much as possible in the area that you are driving on. 

Operate your mobility chair slowly while going over obstacles. 

To better maintain your centre of balance while operating through obstacles: 

When you are going over an obstacle, lean your body slightly forward. 

When  you  are  moving  downward  through  an  obstacle,  lean  your  body  slightly 

backward.
