System Diagnostics
The speed display on the joystick also functions as a diagnostic indicator for your
power chair. When the light is green, the power chair is functioning correctly, and if it
starts fli
ckering, then there’s an issue.
If it’s the first time that the indicator is flickering, power off the power chair, turn it on
after a few seconds and recheck the diagnostic indicator. If it continues to flicker, then
refer to the diagnostic chart for more information.
Issues with the motor, brake, battery, wire connections and other parts of the power
chair can trigger the diagnostic indicator to flicker.
There will be a pause after the initial flickering, follow the flickering pattern to find out
which part is causing the problem from the diagnostic chart.
