1. Introduction
Thank you for buying a high-quality Mobilex product. This user manual contains a description of the medical device
and important guidance to ensure a correct and safe usage of the product. It is important prior to use to read this
manual carefully. It is especially important to read the safety requirements and follow these.
We continuously develop our products and we reserve the right without further notice to change the specifications
and functions of products.
Indications
Shower stools are indicated as a seating device to be used under shower and in bathroom by elderly people, persons
in wheelchairs and other people with limited mobility of the lumbar spine, knees or hips, and for all those who have
difficulties performing everyday personal hygiene in standing position. Using the stool for purposes other than those
indicated above, is prohibited.
Contraindications
Shower stool is not indicted for those patients who can’t maintain proper body balance in a sitting and standing
position. The stool must not be used if the user has problems with impaired perception. Contraindications cannot be
related to one specific clinical picture and they depend on individual evaluation of potential user’s health status. The
choice of orthopedic aid appropriate for a given clinical picture must be always made with the help of a specialist
physician or physiotherapist.

3. Description
Product description
The shower stool is designed for individuals who require seating support during showering or while bathing. It is
made from aluminium tubing which is warm to the touch and corrosion resistant. No tools are required for assembly.

Assembly of the stool:
The shower stool is delivered in a cardboard box in which the lower parts of the legs are included separately. To
assemble the shower stool ready for use, insert the 4 footrests into the tubes provided and secure them at the
desired height using the clips provided (see illustration below). Also check that the soft PUR seat is correctly seated
on the frame, as it may have come loose from the stool during transport. It may be necessary to press the buttons
on the underside of the PUR seat into the holes on the frame.
