Connect the external power adapter (or any
other regulated 12VDC power supply) to the
power input of the connector (press on the
green pins to connect the wires):
- V+ (black lead w
ith white stripe) to “+”
-
Ground (black lead) to “-“
3.5 CONNECT A SENSOR TO THE INPUTS (OPTIONALLY)
It is possible to connect external (NO/NC) sensors to the inputs. A triggered input will
lead to alarm notifications.
Insert the 2 wires of the external sensor through the hole in the enclosure and insert
them in the two connectors of input 2 (press on the green pins for connecting the
wires). It does not matter which wire is connected to which connector.
As default the inputs are programmed as
Normally Open (NO) contacts. This means the
inputs are triggered if the input is closed for at
least 1 second. In case the contact is Normally
Closed (NC), please refer to paragraph 0. If you
require the sensor to be activated for a shorter
or longer period before triggering an alarm,
refer to 5.13.
A second sensor can be connected to input 2.
3.6 CONNECT A DEVICE TO THE OUTPUT (OPTIONALLY)
The Mobeye CML2255 has an open collector output, which switches after receiving
a correct SMS or after an alarm. The output can switch permanently, or just switch
for a pulse time after which the output automatically switches back (see 5.20).
